SARDINIA

Sacred Journey through the landscape of Arzachena

Northern Sardinia, Costa Smeralda

Visit ancient Nuragic sites

Step into the ancient landscape of northern Sardinia and discover traces of a civilisation that lived here thousands of years ago. Prehistoric and Nuragic sites emerge from the granite landscape, sacred spaces and monumental tombs tell stories of people whose world was deeply connected with nature and the cycles of life.

Walk through the landscape

A landscape to walk through slowly, allowing the surroundings to become part of your journey. A landscape of contrasts. Rounded granite rocks rise from green valleys, wild olive trees and the deep blue of the Mediterranean.

You will discover stone and sea, ancient traces and the present moment.

Spend time by the sea

White sand, Mediterranean vegetation, pink granite rocks, clear emerald water, spaciousness, softness, slowing down, breathe, relax and enjoy.

Ride horses

Horses lead you into the quieter interior of Sardinia. Discover a different way of connecting with the land.

Choose between a ride allong the river or a more adventurous path allong a little canyon between olive trees and oaks.

Rest among ancient stones

Walk through the quiet landscape of Gallura towards a small temple, hidden among granite rocks. As you climb, the surroundings slowly open up. On top, an ancient Nuragic temple appears. Built thousands years ago, a place where offerings may have been placed.

Pause and rest. Take the surroundings in, listen to the wind, the birds and the silence.

Watch the light change over the mountains

Return to your accomodation and watch the sun dissapear behind the mountains. Just sit and breathe.

Notice the colours, the shadows as the day comes to an end.  Take in everything you have experienced.
